Bastos By Nature's Theme Song
A theme song for this Pipsqueak is on the way.
Naughty by Nature
Bastos By Nature was added to the registry on October 25, after the last event of the season. His name is a play on the hip-hop group Naughty by Nature: in Tagalog, bastos can be read as naughty. That same day he had his one and only weigh-in: 1 lb 15 oz on the scale, 17 inches around and 16 1/2 inches over the top, even bright orange with a long curved stem. A camera guess had put him at a pound and a half, so he was bigger than he looked. The Cowboy Pinoy hand-picked him for someone special, and he went home as a Hand-Picked for You gift that helped feed the Rescue's horses this winter.
Things I Want My New Family to Know
From Bastos, in his own words.
- The camera guessed I was only a pound and a half. The scale said one pound fifteen ounces. Gotcha!
- My name says naughty, but I'm the good kind of naughty. Ask the Cowboy Pinoy!
- Now I have a home of my own. Thank you for taking me home!
