Slugfest's Theme Song
“Slugfest at the Gate” — official biography track
Come back soon.
Why I’m One of a Kind
Three things that make me different from every other kid in the Patch.
- I am early to Mid Green - Dark splotchy. Nobody else in the whole Patch is this color right now. Just me.
- My stem is thick green striped healthy firm slightly hairy attached to main vine. That is the handle you hold me by, and mine is a really good one.
- My shape is round to slightly squashed-round. Only eleven of us are built this way.

The Keeper of Shallow Taproot Island
Slugfest survived slug bites as the first greeter at the patch entrance in Hobart WA proving tough like Dandelion for Ward Family Rescue kids. QR + INCHES sticker confirms identity. Today it reads as dark forest green base with dense chartreuse-yellow reticulated crackle mottling, 5-7 prominent dark sutures, matte fuzzy. It weighs 7.65 lbs at the latest reading. No parent vine has been identified, so it is recorded as a volunteer. It grew in the Patchrealm of Shallow Taproot Island, and it went home at the Harvest Party on Sunday, October 4.
Slugfest’s Patch Family
Slugfest went home at the Harvest Party. Here are three more from the Patch it grew up in.
