Why I Need to Be Adopted Today
Three things that make me different from every other kid in the Patch.
- I am the only pumpkin that grew on the Triton plant. It made one fruit all season, and the fruit was me.
- My shape is slightly squashed-round. It turns up exactly one time in the whole Patch, and that time is me.
- My leaves are palmately lobed - 5-lobed. Out of all ninety-two of us I am the only one with leaves like mine. I get my own shade to sit in.

The Keeper of the Goat Paddock
Triton was named for Neptune's largest retrograde moon, icy mottled with active geysers. Named for his marbled green-yellow coat that looks like Triton's captured Kuiper surface, and his black curved peduncle like a trident. Today it reads as dark forest green base with mustard-yellow mottled islands, 40% yellow break on shoulder, slight gloss, uneven transition. It weighs 1.02 lbs at the latest reading. It came up on the Triton vine. It grows in the Patchrealm of the Goat Paddock, and it is looking for somebody to take it home any time.
