Why I Need to Be Adopted Today
Three things that make me different from every other kid in the Patch.
- I am named after a Rush song called "Bravado." The band played it for their drummer, Neil Peart, and now it is my name too!
- I am the newest kid on Warrior Hill. The grown-ups found me on plant No. 2, sitting on my own little board.
- I am canary-yellow with a lime-green blush, turning from green to yellow right now. Come and see what color I end up!

The Drummer of Warrior Hill
Bravado is the newest arrival on Warrior Hill. It is named after "Bravado," a song by the Canadian rock band Rush from their 1991 album Roll the Bones. On their 2026 tour, Rush dedicated the song to Neil Peart, the band's longtime drummer and the man who wrote its words -- a good name for a pumpkin turning up on a hill called Warrior. At its first reading on October 13 it was about three and a half inches across and an estimated 0.78 lbs, glossy canary-yellow with a lime-green blush, still on the vine on a board. It came up on plant No. 2 on Warrior Hill. It is looking for somebody to take it home any time.
Before you decide
There is a lot of family out here. If Bravado is not the one, one of these might be. Look for the sign, then look for the sticker.
