Why I Need to Be Adopted Today
Three things that make me different from every other kid in the Patch.
- I must say, I am a very excited pumpkin! The grown-ups only just found me.
- I am named after Ed Grimley, a famous comedy character with one tall, pointy swoop of hair. Grown-ups who remember him always smile.
- Nobody has written down a single thing about me yet. Take me home and be the very first to find out everything!

The Pointy-Haired Pumpkin
Grimley was found on October 18, and the keeper took one look and saw Ed Grimley: the wonderfully nerdy character Martin Short created on SCTV and brought to Saturday Night Live, with his hair swept up into one tall point, his pants pulled way up high, and his famous "I must say!" This pumpkin kind of looks like him. Nobody has measured it, weighed it, photographed it or worked out which vine it came off yet. It has no Patchrealm on file. It is looking for somebody to take it home any time.
Before you decide
There is a lot of family out here. If Grimley is not the one, one of these might be. Look for the sign, then look for the sticker.
