Scout's Theme Song
A theme song for this Pipsqueak is on the way.
Come back soon.
Come back soon.
Why I Need to Be Adopted Today
Three things that make me different from every other kid in the Patch.
- I stayed out of sight all season long, keeping watch on Warrior Hill, and I turned orange while nobody was looking. The grown-ups only just spotted me!
- Everybody else up here is a fighter. Not me. I am the lookout: I watch, I listen, and I tell you what I saw.
- Nobody has written down a single thing about me yet. Take me home and you get to be the first to find out everything.

The Lookout of Warrior Hill
Scout is the newest find on Warrior Hill, spotted on October 16 after a whole season of staying out of sight. Warrior Hill is full of brave names: Xena, Joan of Warrior Hill, The Defender and more. Scout is a different kind of brave. A scout does not fight; a scout keeps quiet, keeps watch, and comes back to tell everybody what it saw. In its first photo it is already bright, ripe orange, sitting low in the tall grass with its name sticker on. Nobody has measured it, weighed it or worked out which vine it came off yet. It is looking for somebody to take it home any time.
Before you decide
There is a lot of family out here. If Scout is not the one, one of these might be. Look for the sign, then look for the sticker.
